Attention Procrastinators! It's your lucky day. With fewer than 90 overrun books available for purchase yet, the yearbook staff has an incentive for you. If you bring in your check for $80.56 payable to CYHS before the close of school on Monday, May 14, your name will be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card to Applebee's. Bring your payment to Mrs. Sands in room 428. And don't forget distribution in May 18!

Guidance Office
The following representatives will be in the Guidance Office this week: Friday; Randolph Macon College @ 7:45. Interested seniors or juniors should pick up a green pass in the Guidance Office.
Acts of Kindness
Looking for a way to show you care? Consider joining the Acts of Kindness Club. This year, there are some immediate needs, so we'll have plenty to kindness to spread around. Think you're interested? Meet us in room 165 on Friday. That's the room at top of the stairs in the upstairs atrium.See you then!
French Club
Interested in all things French? Consider joining the French Club! Our first meeting will be Tuesday September 8th during Flex, however, meetings will generally be held on Mondays. We will begin planning for our National French Celebration and of course there'll be snacks! Be sure to sign up in the Flex Time manager. A roster will be created for this club after the second meeting. The limit is 23 people, so don't delay!
NHS Candidate Meeting
A meeting will be held for all National Honor Society Candidates to review the letter of invitation and submission of documentation process on Friday, Sept 4 during Flex in the Senior Cafe. Please sign up in Flex time manager under Ms. Peterson or Ms. Cornbower.
Senior Release
This is a reminder that Senior release begins Tuesday, September 8 for those who have returned their permission forms.
Lockers
Custodians are working to get the zip ties off the lockers for those students who requested them. Students should be checking periodically during the day to see if the zip tie has been removed. ALL students interested in having a locker should ensure they have a lock on his/her locker by Friday, September 4. Any unused locker will be re-zipped tied.
Parking Permits
Parking Permits will be available in the CAFETERIA this Thursday, September 3 and need to be returned to the DO beginning Friday, September 4. You will need parent signatures, the $10.00 application fee (which cannot be put on a debit card) and ALL the information completed on the application.
Optimist Club
Are you interested in becoming involved in a club here at the high school? If so, join the Optimist Club! The Optimist Club is an organization created on the basis of lending a helpful hand and spreading positivity throughout the community. Joining the Optimist Club is a great way to make a positive impact to your school and peers. Pick up an application form in the Career Center today!
